Islamabad/Kabul — Tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan’s Taliban‑led government have sharply escalated into one of the most serious cross‑border clashes in years, with both sides trading attacks along the disputed Durand Line border and conducting deep strikes into each other’s territory.
