Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory ahead of football superstar Lionel Messi’s visit to the national capital on Monday. The Argentine icon will begin the final leg of his India tour, with the main event scheduled at Arun Jaitley Stadium. Residents were also advised to avoid JLN Marg, Asaf Ali Road, and Bahadurshah Zafar Marg due to expected heavy movement and congestion related to Messi’s tour.

To manage the large influx of visitors, the authorities have shared entry and exit points for fans who have purchased tickets, emphasizing the use of public transportation such as metro and buses. Parking around Arun Jaitley Stadium has been prohibited, and violators will face towing and fines. The measures aim to minimize traffic disruptions and ensure the safety of both visitors and the football icon.
