DP World’s National Industries Park (NIP) is poised to introduce a cutting-edge furniture manufacturing hub, as global furniture brand Zarberg announces a substantial AED 120 million investment aimed at elevating the region’s burgeoning real estate sector.
Spanning 65,000 square metres, the initial phase will utilize 18,000 square metres for manufacturing, administrative tasks, and a specialized showroom. The company's expansion plans include further phases set to complete by 2028, catering to the surging demand across the UAE and the broader GCC.
Once operational, Zarberg aims to supply furniture for approximately 40 furnished apartments daily. The first phase is expected to create around 150 jobs, with hiring increasing as production capacity grows. The facility will offer customized kitchens, wardrobes, living room sets, and bathroom vanities, all constructed to European design and engineering specifications using high-quality materials.
A standout aspect of this new hub will be its automated Industry 4.0 production line, enabling customers to tailor furniture according to style, material, and finish. This innovative setup is designed to enhance production efficiency, shorten lead times, and maintain high-quality standards.
Emphasizing Dubai’s commitment to sustainable industrial practices, the site will feature rooftop solar panels, energy-efficient machinery, and upgraded air-filtration systems. Warehouse operations will incorporate electric vehicles, and all wood materials will be sourced from certified forests to guarantee responsible procurement.
This initiative pushes forward Dubai’s manufacturing sector at a time of rapid urbanization, with new residential, commercial, and hospitality projects emerging. The new Zarberg facility aims to establish NIP as a key player in the future of regional manufacturing, meeting the rising demand for quality, customized furniture.
