Yas Waterworld Achieves Guinness World Record for Most Waterslides

Officially recognized by Guinness World Records, Yas Waterworld located on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi boasts the title for hosting the most waterslides in a waterpark, with an astonishing count of 55 waterslides.

This milestone was celebrated during a ceremony at the waterpark, where Dr Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi, Group CEO of Miral, alongside Rayan Al Haddar, General Manager of Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, received the prestigious Guinness World Records certificate from Hanane Spiers, the Official Guinness World Records Adjudicator for the MENA region and Türkiye.

Expansion Secures Record Achievement

The waterpark's recent expansion, featuring an addition of 11 new rides, slides, and attractions, contributed to securing the record. This expansion enhances the park's Lost City theme, which continues to narrate the tale of The Legend of the Lost Pearl.

In total, Yas Waterworld offers over 70 rides and attractions, with its collection of 55 waterslides standing out as a significant highlight for visitors and securing the world record.

Reflecting on Success

Following the award presentation, Rayan Al Haddar expressed that this recognition is another key milestone for Yas Waterworld.

He emphasized that the introduction of new attractions, including the tallest waterslide in the UAE, demonstrates the park's ongoing commitment to providing innovative and world-class experiences for its guests, reinforcing Yas Waterworld's status as a premier global waterpark offering unforgettable memories for thrill-seekers, families, and friends.

Exciting New Offerings

Among the park's newest highlights is Matamir's Drop, known as the tallest waterslide in the UAE, along with a variety of high-speed racing slides and engaging water activities tailored for visitors of all ages.

These new offerings merge contemporary water entertainment with the park’s Emirati-inspired storytelling, providing guests with a unique experience and further developing the Lost City theme.

A Landmark Achievement for Yas Island

This Guinness World Record also signifies a remarkable accomplishment for Yas Waterworld, adding to the allure of attractions on Yas Island. With 55 waterslides, the waterpark establishes a new global standard, solidifying its reputation as a hub for world-class aquatic entertainment.
