Each evening prior to sunset, Wahat Al Karama in Abu Dhabi hosts a daily “Salute the Flag” ceremony, organised by the Fallen Heroes’ Affairs Office to pay respect to the UAE’s martyrs.

The event unfolds at the Memorial and Pavilion of Honour, featuring a formal tribute by the Guard of Honour. This solemn occasion envelops attendees in an atmosphere that resonates with respect and admiration for the nation’s fallen heroes.

This initiative not only reinforces the core values of loyalty, sacrifice, and unity but also stands as a tribute to the courage of those who lost their lives defending the country.

Open to everyone free of charge, the ceremony invites visitors to reflect on the profound significance of service and patriotism while engaging with one of the UAE’s cherished national landmarks.

This daily homage is a testament to the UAE’s pledge to honour its martyrs, ensuring their legacy remains alive for future generations.
