The UAE has rolled out an ambitious digital transformation strategy to revamp public services through cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, led discussions on the government's framework focusing on the application of Agentic AI in public sector processes.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum alongside other senior officials.
The goal is to modernize 50% of governmental sectors and services within two years by implementing Agentic AI systems, which will autonomously handle tasks and facilitate government operations with reduced human oversight.
During the briefing, it was emphasized that the venture aims to enhance service delivery, expedite governmental workflows, and boost efficiency through the utilization of a sophisticated digital framework and federal data systems.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has charted the strategic course for advancing the nation's leadership in artificial intelligence and modern governance.
Key figures like Omar Sultan Al Olama and Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi pointed out that the initiative is already underway, backed by high-level oversight.
The project also emphasizes cultivating national AI capabilities, which will lead to quicker decision-making and more proactive governmental services, aiming for a more responsive and continually available UAE government system.
Officials noted that this transformation aligns with the UAE's long-term vision of emerging as a global pioneer in AI-driven governance and service delivery.
Ultimately, this initiative is set to reshape how government services are accessed, promising a faster, smarter, and more accessible experience for both citizens and businesses nationwide.
