His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, recently held high-level talks with US Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent in New York. The discussions focused on strengthening strategic ties between the United Arab Emirates and the United States, particularly in finance, economy, and trade.
Both leaders emphasized the importance of deepening bilateral cooperation to support economic growth, diversify trade relations, and ensure a sustainable future for both nations. Sheikh Abdullah underlined the UAE’s commitment to enhancing partnerships with the US in key sectors, signaling a forward-looking approach to global economic collaboration.
In addition to economic discussions, the two sides explored avenues to promote peace, stability, and prosperity in the Middle East. They reiterated their shared commitment to advancing global security and fostering a stable international environment.
Sheikh Abdullah highlighted the alignment of both countries’ visions, noting that strategic collaboration between the UAE and the US will continue to support innovation, economic resilience, and long-term prosperity.
The meeting reflects the UAE’s ongoing efforts to strengthen international partnerships and maintain its pivotal role as a hub for finance, trade, and diplomacy in the region.
