A humanitarian flight from the UAE has set off from Al Maktoum International Airport, bound for Al Arish, Egypt, to assist those affected by the ongoing crisis in Gaza.
This operation is part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, a substantial relief initiative by the UAE aimed at delivering humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people in Gaza.
According to officials, this flight is transporting 100 tonnes of essential emergency aid. The cargo includes vital medical supplies, nutritional provisions for children, and clothing for families to celebrate Eid.
The relief mission is a collaboration with Emirates Red Crescent, the International Charity Organisation, and the Dar Al Ber Society.
Since its inception in November 2023, Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 has successfully delivered over 123,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Gaza, under the guidance of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
UAE officials emphasized that this initiative underscores the nation's steadfast dedication to providing crucial humanitarian assistance across the globe during times of crisis.
