In a landmark development for UAE-Lithuania economic relations, the second UAE–Lithuania Business Council Meeting took place in Vilnius yesterday. This gathering attracted prominent figures from both sectors, highlighting their joint ambition to advance trade, investment, and business collaborations.
Hosted by the Lithuanian Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Crafts, this meeting provided an organized forum for companies to consider joint ventures, share expertise, and devise strategies to enhance economic connections. Over 30 Lithuanian firms across various sectors, including furniture, real estate, and tourism, participated, showcasing the diverse opportunities available.
Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Vice Chairman of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce, stressed the necessity for ongoing dialogue between the business communities. He noted that the council acts as a vital link for Emirati and Lithuanian entrepreneurs to seek investment possibilities and expand trade in key industries.
The meetings also spotlighted the growing interest in technology and clean energy investments, identified as essential areas for future collaboration. Various bilateral discussions and presentations offered a chance for participants to explore potential partnerships and analyse market trends, paving the way for sustainable joint ventures.
