As part of its humanitarian initiatives, the UAE has dispatched four aid convoys consisting of essential food and clothing supplies to Gaza, timed for Eid Al Adha through its operation dubbed, “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3”.
This humanitarian aid includes 60 trucks delivering approximately 930 tonnes of vital supplies designed to support families in Gaza facing hardships due to the ongoing crisis. The primary contents of this shipment emphasize food provisions and clothing to assist residents in celebratory preparations for Eid Al Adha.
Notably, about 540 tonnes of clothing were sourced from the Emirates Red Crescent to aid families in Gaza during this significant time of the year.
The UAE’s humanitarian teams from the Al Arish logistics hub efficiently organized and loaded the aid trucks prior to their departure for Gaza. This operation is a testament to the UAE’s broader humanitarian mission to deliver crucial supplies and urgent relief to Palestinians in need.
Reflecting a deep-seated commitment, “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3” signifies the UAE’s enduring support for individuals affected by humanitarian crises, underscoring its role in supplying critical aid to those in desperate circumstances.
