UAE's Al Arish Floating Hospital Welcomes More Patients from Gaza

UAE's Al Arish Floating Hospital Welcomes More Patients from Gaza

Post by : Badri Ariffin

In a continued effort to provide essential medical care, the UAE Floating Hospital situated in Al Arish, Egypt, has welcomed two more patients from Gaza, facilitated through the Rafah border crossing. This initiative is part of the UAE's comprehensive humanitarian undertaking, known as Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, aimed at assisting the Palestinian population amidst the ongoing crisis.

With these latest arrivals, the hospital has now treated a total of 85 patients since the Rafah crossing's reopening in February, highlighting the ongoing commitment to patient care.

Upon arrival, the medical and nursing teams at the hospital promptly initiated health evaluations and examinations to ensure that each patient receives tailored medical attention in accordance with international healthcare standards.

The UAE Floating Hospital has established itself as a vital medical facility, offering a broad spectrum of healthcare services, from routine check-ups and diagnosis to surgical interventions, physiotherapy, and dialysis.

Managed by a dedicated Emirati medical and administrative staff, and supported by an Indonesian medical team, the hospital operates around the clock to provide effective medical services and maintain seamless patient care.

As part of broader humanitarian efforts, the UAE's Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 reflects the country’s commitment to alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people amid difficult times in Gaza.
