UAE Relief Flight Brings 100 Tonnes of Food Aid to Gaza via Egypt

UAE Relief Flight Brings 100 Tonnes of Food Aid to Gaza via Egypt

Post by : Badri Ariffin

A humanitarian flight from the UAE has successfully landed in Al Arish, Egypt, bringing with it 100 tonnes of food supplies as part of the ongoing “Humaid Air Bridge” initiative. This operation is under the auspices of the UAE's humanitarian program, Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, designed to assist residents of the Gaza Strip.

The shipment consists of 3,978 food parcels, which have been prepared following stringent humanitarian guidelines. This aid aims to address fundamental food shortages and enhance food security for families in Gaza who are currently enduring harsh living conditions.

Upon arrival at Al Arish, the shipments were received by a UAE humanitarian team, who then managed the transport and secure storage at the UAE humanitarian logistics hub in the city. These supplies will be expedited into Gaza via approved channels, guaranteeing prompt and safe distribution to those in need.

This latest delivery underscores the UAE's unyielding commitment to humanitarian efforts in the region, aiming to alleviate the hardships faced by the Palestinian population by providing essential aid.

Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 continues its valuable work, utilizing air, land, and maritime routes to deliver food, medical supplies, and other relief assistance to Gaza, showcasing the UAE’s enduring dedication to humanitarian support and solidarity with crisis-stricken nations.
