On Monday, Dubai proudly celebrated the 54th Eid Al Etihad, marking a day filled with festivities that echoed the renewed spirit of unity and the core values that have guided the UAE since its inception. Observed on December 2, this day highlighted the remarkable journey of transforming seven emirates into a cohesive nation.
Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chair of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, remarked that the day's significance lies in honoring the resolve of the Founding Fathers, whose collaborative vision established a nation focused on opportunities and a forward-thinking approach.
This year's theme, “United,” resonated through cultural events and community projects, showcasing the UAE’s enduring pledge to togetherness. Various institutions highlighted the nation’s growth, showcasing the harmony and collective spirit that shape Emirati identity.
Sheikha Latifa mentioned that the unity is the foundation of the UAE’s strength, guiding its evolution from the inception of the Union to its modern standing in the global arena. She stressed that the country’s triumphs stem from a unified ambition and a shared vision for a bright future.
As the celebrations continued, Eid Al Etihad served as a heartfelt reflection of the UAE's glorious heritage and the ongoing journey, built on unity, resilience, and national pride.
