In a notable ceremony, Tunisian President Kais Saied honored Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ali Al-Saqr, the Saudi Ambassador to Tunisia, with the prestigious Order of the Republic (First Class). This award recognizes Al-Saqr's significant efforts in fortifying the partnership between Saudi Arabia and Tunisia.

The accolade was bestowed during a meeting at the Presidential Palace in Tunis, marking the conclusion of Ambassador Al-Saqr’s diplomatic mission in Tunisia.

President Saied acknowledged the ambassador's pivotal role in nurturing collaboration across numerous sectors between both nations. He expressed gratitude for Al-Saqr’s influence in enhancing bilateral relations.

Awarding the Order of the Republic (First Class), one of Tunisia's highest distinctions, reflects a deep appreciation for Al-Saqr’s contributions throughout his tenure in fostering Saudi-Tunisian connections.

This recognition underscores the robust and evolving ties between Saudi Arabia and Tunisia, along with both countries' dedication to furthering their cooperative efforts moving forward.
