Thai Chuay Thai Plus Sees Record Sign-Ups

Thai Chuay Thai Plus Sees Record Sign-Ups

Post by : Shakul

Thailand’s “Thai Chuay Thai Plus” economic support program is witnessing a major rise in participation as businesses across the country continue registering in record numbers. Government officials confirmed that May 27 recorded the highest number of new business applications since registrations officially opened earlier this week.

Deputy Government Spokesperson Lalida Periswiwatana stated that as of 6:00 p.m. on May 27, a total of 12,840 new businesses had registered for the program in a single day. The figure marks the largest daily increase since the project began accepting applications on May 25.

According to official data, registrations have continued to rise steadily over the past several days. Authorities reported 12,429 new registrations on May 25, followed by 10,244 on May 26, before registrations climbed sharply again on May 27. Officials said the growing numbers reflect strong confidence among entrepreneurs in the government’s economic recovery measures.

The number of businesses that successfully completed verification and became fully operational under the program also increased significantly. On May 27 alone, 10,576 additional shops completed the approval process, pushing the total number of verified and ready-to-use businesses nationwide to 605,812.

Government officials said the administration led by Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul remains committed to boosting the grassroots economy and supporting small business owners, community stores, and local entrepreneurs throughout Thailand.

Lalida explained that the government views the rising participation as a clear sign that business operators see strong opportunities to increase sales and reach more customers through the state-backed initiative. Authorities are now accelerating the approval and verification process to ensure registered businesses can begin participating as quickly as possible.

The “Thai Chuay Thai Plus” program forms part of Thailand’s broader economic stimulus efforts aimed at reducing living costs for citizens while supporting domestic businesses affected by economic challenges and changing market conditions.

Economic analysts believe the rapid growth in participation demonstrates increasing confidence in government-backed financial support measures and highlights the importance of small and medium-sized enterprises in driving Thailand’s local economic recovery.
