UAE and UK Legislators Aim to Enhance Strategic Ties

Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, the Chairman of the Defence, Interior, and Foreign Affairs Committee in the Federal National Council (FNC), engaged with UK House of Commons Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle during a formal visit to the Parliament in London. This meeting, which also included UAE Ambassador to the UK, Mansoor Abdullah Abulhoul, signifies a notable progression in solidifying the enduring relationship between the two countries.

Al Nuaimi relayed greetings from FNC Speaker Saqr Ghobash and highlighted the robust nature of the UAE-UK partnership, emphasizing ongoing advancements in cooperation across political, economic, and security realms. Their discussions centered on augmenting parliamentary collaboration to reflect the ongoing momentum in their bilateral ties.

The dialogue also addressed various regional and global developments, with both parties recognizing the rising challenges that call for closer collaboration. They underscored the crucial role of parliamentary diplomacy in promoting stability, fostering dialogue, countering divisive narratives, and supporting humanitarian initiatives in sensitive areas.
