His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan hosted a delegation from the Department of Government Enablement (DGE) in Abu Dhabi, led by His Excellency Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, Chairman of the department.
During their meeting, His Highness reviewed the latest developments at the Mawaheb Talent Hub located in the Al Ain region, emphasizing initiatives designed to train and empower UAE Nationals to boost their competitiveness in the job market through enhanced employment opportunities and collaboration.
He also examined the initiatives undertaken since the Empowering National Talents in Al Ain Forum, held in October 2025, which highlighted commitment towards supporting Emirati job seekers by aligning their career opportunities with existing skills, qualifications, and aspirations. This aims to foster labour market inclusivity and bolster youth employment in Al Ain.
His Highness pointed out the critical need for continuous advancement in national talent programs to prepare citizens for future job demands, particularly in rapidly evolving sectors.
He reaffirmed that Emiratisation stands as a strategic priority, aligned with the vision of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He emphasized the necessity of equipping Emiratis with skills in artificial intelligence, cutting-edge technology, digital strategies, and innovation to adapt to global economic shifts.
The DGE delegation also provided insights on their community engagement efforts, including 14 open days within the Al Ain region in areas such as Al Shiwayb and Al Qua’a, aimed at connecting talent with recruitment opportunities in vital sectors.
Additionally, discussions included planning for the second Empowering National Talents in Al Ain Forum, expected to take place in the last quarter of this year, which will further bolster employment prospects for UAE Nationals.
Prior to this, the 2025 forum led to the establishment of 17 agreements (MoUs) between DGE’s Mawaheb Talent Hub and various governmental, semi-governmental, and private organizations, enhancing job opportunities across sectors such as banking, finance, education, and emerging technologies, along with accompanying training initiatives for better skills and sustained employment outcomes.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan and officials from both DGE and the Mawaheb Talent Hub.
