In a celebrated ceremony honoring the future leaders of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Executive Council, witnessed the graduation of 50 leaders. This event was organized by the UAE Ministry of Defence, alongside the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government.

This landmark occasion recognized the second graduating class of the Future Leaders Executive Programme and the inaugural group from the Young Leaders Empowerment Executive Programme. With two tracks of 25 graduates each, the ceremony aligned with the 50th anniversary of the UAE Armed Forces' unification.

Themed “Proud of You for Making a Difference”, the event attracted key figures from both the government and military sectors.

Sheikh Hamdan emphasized that investing in human capital is crucial for the UAE’s vision of national growth, guided by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE. He highlighted that empowering leaders in government and military with essential skills is vital for maintaining the UAE’s competitive edge on a global scale.

He stated that fostering young national talent is an investment crucial for future prosperity, underscoring the necessity of grooming leaders who can navigate global shifts, foresee challenges, and leverage them as opportunities.

Designed to enhance institutional effectiveness, the programmes were executed by the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government, incorporating best international practices. They focus on leadership skills, future foresight, and institutional efficiency.

The Future Leaders Executive Programme prioritized strategic thinking, scenario planning, institutional reform, digital transitions, and performance enhancement, while the Young Leaders Empowerment Executive Programme equipped participants with team management, communication, customer service, and professional accountability skills.

Utilizing modern educational methodologies, the training included case studies, experiential learning, and interactive sessions through the “Meet a Leader” initiative, providing firsthand insights into leadership.

Participants engaged in collaborative projects aimed at boosting institutional performance and nurturing a culture of teamwork and innovation.

This graduation event reaffirms the UAE’s dedication to cultivating a skilled and innovative workforce capable of supporting sustainable national growth.
