Ratchada Begins Role as Govt Spokesperson

Post by : Shakul

Ratchada Thanadirek officially began her role as the new government spokesperson by visiting Government House, where she paid respects to sacred sites in accordance with tradition. The ceremony included offerings at shrines dedicated to guardian and ancestral spirits, symbolizing a respectful start to her new responsibilities.

Speaking on her appointment under the leadership of Anutin Charnvirakul, Ratchada emphasized her commitment to improving public communication. She highlighted the importance of delivering information in a clear, simple, and accessible manner, reducing complex formal language to ensure better understanding among citizens.

The spokesperson also outlined plans to adopt a more modern and digital-focused communication strategy. She stated that her role will involve presenting accurate government policies and verified information while actively addressing misinformation. Any incorrect reports will be promptly corrected to maintain transparency and public trust.

The visit to Government House reflects a long-standing tradition among newly appointed officials in Thailand, believed to bring good fortune and success. As Ratchada steps into her new role, her focus on clarity, accuracy, and digital engagement is expected to shape how the government communicates with the public in the future.
