In a significant step toward enhancing safety protocols, Qatar’s Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) has launched its inaugural volunteer training program centered on disaster management and search and rescue efforts.
This program is established under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Qatar Voluntary Center, affiliated with the Ministry of Culture. The training sessions are executed by the Qatar Search and Rescue Team, ensuring that volunteers receive quality, hands-on instruction.
Emphasizing the vital contributions of youth to national service, this initiative aims to cultivate proficient volunteers capable of responsive action in emergencies.
Participants will emerge from the program equipped with crucial skills and experience, ultimately enhancing the nation’s disaster readiness and response framework.
