On Wednesday, the State of Qatar partook in a meeting of permanent representatives at the League of Arab States, held at the General Secretariat. This gathering aimed to prepare for the sixth Arab-European ministerial meeting slated for June 22 to 23 in Jordan.
Leading the Qatari delegation was HE Sheikh Jassim bin Abdul Rahman bin Mohammad Al-Thani, the Ambassador of Qatar to Egypt and the Permanent Representative to the League.
During the coordination session, delegates from various Arab countries received updates on the ongoing arrangements for the upcoming Arab-European ministerial meeting, emphasizing stronger collaboration and unified efforts among the Arab nations.
Additionally, participants reviewed a draft declaration anticipated for adoption during the ministerial conference. This declaration seeks to tackle increasing regional challenges, particularly concerning the alarming Iran-backed attacks on Gulf Cooperation Council nations and Jordan, which pose significant risks to both regional and global security.
The upcoming sixth Arab-European ministerial meeting underscores the enduring commitment of both Arab nations and European Union states to foster dialogue and bolster cooperation across diverse sectors.
