Qatar has issued a strong condemnation regarding the recent missile and drone strikes executed by Iran on civilian installations in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), resulting in injuries to three Indian nationals.
In a statement released on Monday, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs characterized the strikes as a blatant violation of the UAE's sovereignty. The ministry indicated that such acts pose a significant threat to the security and stability of the region.
Qatar expressed unwavering support and solidarity with the UAE, endorsing all measures taken by Emirati authorities to safeguard the nation’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
The ministry further voiced concerns over attacks targeting civilian infrastructure and stressed the necessity of maintaining regional peace.
Additionally, Qatar extended its heartfelt wishes for a swift recovery to those hurt in the assault, including the three Indian nationals.
