Afghanistan Peace Efforts: Qatar and China Collaborate

During his visit to Qatar, the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, met with China's Special Envoy for Afghanistan, Yue Xiaoyong.

This meeting centered around Afghanistan's current situation, aiming to enhance collaborative efforts to bolster security, peace, and overall stability in the region.

Both parties underscored the necessity of ongoing dialogue and cooperation to ensure Afghanistan’s stability and to tackle regional issues through non-violent approaches.

Dr. Al Khulaifi reiterated Qatar’s unwavering support for diplomatic initiatives aimed at conflict resolution and affirmed the country's dedication to engaging in regional and international processes that foster enduring peace.
