Pertamina Prepares 7,885 Gas Stations for Eid Travel 2026

Pertamina Prepares 7,885 Gas Stations for Eid Travel 2026

Post by : Shakul

Indonesia’s state-owned energy company PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has prepared 7,885 gas stations and 6,662 LPG agents across the country to ensure a stable supply of fuel and energy during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr homecoming travel period in 2026.

The company stated that 2,074 of the gas stations will operate 24 hours a day, while fuel distribution will also be supported by 6,777 Pertashops, which are smaller fuel outlets serving remote and rural areas.

Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga Roberth MV Dumatubun said the company has placed additional fuel modules near gas stations to anticipate a possible surge in fuel demand during the peak travel period.

According to the company, 6,662 LPG agents have been prepared to ensure sufficient household gas supplies during Ramadan and Eid celebrations. Around 6,300 of these agents will operate 24 hours a day. The distribution network is also supported by 757 bulk LPG filling stations and 223 kerosene agents across Indonesia.

To serve travelers on major transportation routes, Pertamina has deployed 96 modular fuel service units and 62 MyPertamina Alert Kiosks located at 64 strategic points, including toll roads, tourist destinations, and major intercity routes.

In preparation for increased fuel demand during the annual Eid homecoming, locally known as “mudik,” the company has also prepared around 200 tanker trucks as a reserve fuel supply to prevent shortages during peak travel days.

Pertamina Patra Niaga has also set up 41 MyPertamina Galleries at rest areas, tourist routes, airports, and ports. These facilities offer travelers a place to rest, refuel, and access basic services during their journeys.

To assist motorists facing emergencies on congested routes, the company has introduced motorist assistance services known as Pertamina Delivery Service (PDS). The service will deliver fuel to drivers who run out of fuel on highways or other busy roads.

Additional services include ambulances at MyPertamina Galleries, free porter services at several airports, and free towing and vehicle servicing to help travelers maintain safe and comfortable journeys.

Pertamina added that the public can access energy service information through the MyPertamina mobile application or the Pertamina Contact Center 135, which operates 24 hours a day.
