Paige Bueckers Discusses Her Beauty Essentials and Game-Day Routine

Paige Bueckers Discusses Her Beauty Essentials and Game-Day Routine

Post by : Saif Rahman

Renowned basketball player Paige Bueckers of the Dallas Wings recently revealed her beauty regimen and personal style outside the court in an interview with Forbes. Growing up, she was unfamiliar with beauty and makeup, as her days were dominated by practices, games, and academics. It wasn't until her time at UConn that she began to learn about beauty basics.

Her partnership with Madison Reed marked a turning point, leading her into the vibrant world of fashion, including New York Fashion Week. This newfound exposure helped her realize she could carve out an identity beyond basketball, embracing elements that boost her confidence.

Paige noted that one of the biggest lessons was the time commitment involved in beauty routines. Given her busy athlete's schedule, she opted for a straightforward approach. On game days, she carries a wax stick, water, and serum to tame her flyaways. After years of double braids, which she found damaging, she now favors a slick-back bun for its convenience and ease before competitions.

Additionally, she expressed her enjoyment in experimenting with hair color. Trying demi-permanent shades like Sparkling Rosé and Pink Orchid allows her to showcase her creativity and sense of freedom.

Paige hopes to inspire young girls to confidently explore their multifaceted identities. She believes they should not feel pigeonholed into one role, advocating for their ability to embrace sports, beauty, fashion, and anything that empowers them. She emphasizes that it's perfectly fine to be more than just a basketball player; this diversity is what makes them special.

As Paige Bueckers continues to motivate others both on and off the court, her message resonates: young girls should feel free to express themselves, explore new activities, and celebrate all facets of their identity.
