Seoul: Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang expressed confidence on Thursday that the recent meeting between US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping in South Korea was productive and positive. Huang’s remarks came during a visit to Seoul, where he met with top South Korean business leaders, including Samsung Electronics Chairman Jay Y. Lee and Hyundai Motor Group Executive Chair Euisun Chung.
Huang, whose company recently became the first public firm to reach a market capitalization of $5 trillion, highlighted the importance of strong international dialogue in shaping global technology and artificial intelligence collaboration. “I’m confident that Presidents Trump and Xi had a good meeting today,” Huang said, emphasizing the constructive tone of the discussions.
Looking ahead, Huang said he was eager to meet South Korea's president on Friday to discuss Nvidia’s ongoing projects and new collaborations in AI, semiconductors, and advanced computing. The CEO suggested that several announcements regarding partnerships with South Korean companies were forthcoming, signaling growing synergy between Nvidia and key tech leaders in the region.
Nvidia’s growing market dominance and Huang’s active international engagements underline the company’s role at the forefront of global AI and semiconductor innovation. Analysts noted that Huang’s confidence in US-China relations could help stabilize tech markets and facilitate cross-border partnerships in advanced computing and AI development.
“This visit reflects Nvidia’s commitment to collaboration, innovation, and strengthening international tech ties,” Huang added, reinforcing the company’s strategic focus on global engagement and leadership in AI technology.
South Korea, home to major semiconductor and technology manufacturers, remains a pivotal partner for Nvidia as it continues to expand its AI, chip, and computing ecosystem worldwide.
