The UAE Tennis and Padel Federation has established a fresh Board of Directors for the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, with Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum taking the helm. This move aims to elevate the tournament's stature on the global tennis stage.

This decision underscores the Federation's dedication to nurturing the Championships' growth while ensuring competent leadership that aligns with its prestigious reputation.

A Diverse Board with Extensive Experience

The new Board consists of prominent national figures, each bringing vast expertise in sports, management, business, events, and innovation. The Federation seeks to leverage their collective knowledge to enhance the Championships' profile.

The Board members are:

  • Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum – Chairman
  • Mohamed Al Sharhan
  • Ismail Al Hashemi
  • Ahmed Al Khaja
  • Fatma Bujsaim
  • Amal bin Shabib
  • Hasan Al Mazrouei
  • Ramesh Cidambi

Enhancing Governance and Event Growth

As stated by the UAE Tennis and Padel Federation, forming this new Board signifies their intent to bolster governance for the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, mirroring its international standing.
