Nakheel, a key player in Dubai Holding Real Estate, has announced the award of contracts exceeding AED 3.5 billion for the development of 544 villas at Palm Jebel Ali—a significant advancement for one of Dubai’s most expansive waterfront projects.
The contracts have been granted to Ginco General Contracting L.L.C, tasked with constructing 354 villas along Fronds A to D, and United Engineering Construction (UNEC), which will build 190 villas on Fronds E and F. Construction is set to kick off this quarter, with an anticipated completion in the fourth quarter of 2028.
Khalid Al Malik, CEO of Dubai Holding Real Estate, expressed that these contract awards signify considerable progress within the Palm Jebel Ali initiative. He emphasized that the development will significantly enhance Dubai’s coastline and bolster long-term growth, making the city more appealing to residents, investors, and tourists alike.
Ginco Chairman Gheyath Mohammad Gheyath expressed pride in their ongoing collaboration with Nakheel, pledging to uphold high standards in project delivery. UNEC Chairman Eng. Abdul Halim Muwahid echoed these sentiments, emphasizing that Palm Jebel Ali will aid in the establishment of forward-thinking communities.
Palm Jebel Ali is a cornerstone of Dubai’s future expansion strategy, aligning with the city’s vision for innovative, sustainable waterfront living. The villas will feature a variety of ten unique designs that emphasize sea views, smart-home innovations, and eco-friendly attributes.
This venture also aligns with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan and the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, further solidifying Dubai’s standing as a premier destination for luxury waterfront developments.
