Meghan, Duchess of Sussex is set to appear as a special guest speaker at an exclusive, women‑focused weekend retreat in Sydney, Australia, with tickets priced from approximately A$2,699 (about £1,400) per person. The three‑day event is scheduled to take place next month during Meghan and her husband Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex’s visit to the country.
Organised by the Her Best Life podcast — founded by Gemma O’Neill, a former producer for actress **Nicole Kidman — the retreat is described as “a girls’ weekend like no other.” Meghan’s appearance will include a gala dinner and a fireside‑chat style Q&A session, with VIP ticket holders offered front‑row seating and the opportunity for a group photo with the duchess.
Event Features and Activities
The 300‑person retreat will be held at a five‑star venue in Sydney’s eastern suburbs near Coogee Beach, and is being marketed as an opportunity for women to “reconnect, recharge and have some serious fun.” In addition to Meghan’s appearance, the event’s schedule includes talks by a psychologist, yoga sessions, sound healing workshops, a disco night and meditation and manifestation sessions.
VIP tickets for the weekend are priced at around A$3,200 (around £1,700) per person. Organisers say Megan supports the community’s mission of empowering women and encouraging personal growth.
Background and Context
The announcement comes shortly after Meghan’s lifestyle brand As Ever ended its content partnership with Netflix. The couple had signed a multi‑year deal with Netflix in 2020 to produce television and film projects, including Meghan’s lifestyle and cookery show With Love, Meghan. That series ran for two seasons and a Christmas special but did not perform strongly with audiences.
Meghan and Prince Harry’s forthcoming visit to Australia will include private, business and philanthropic engagements, according to a spokesperson for the couple. This will be their first major trip to the country since their widely‑covered 2018 tour, which was the couple’s first overseas tour following their marriage.
Since stepping back from their roles as senior working members of the British Royal Family in 2020, Meghan and Harry have focused on media, business and charitable efforts. Their relationship with the British monarchy has also been the subject of public discussion, with Harry recently speaking about ongoing family dynamics.
