The discussions focused on reinforcing the robust bilateral ties and exploring avenues for enhanced collaboration in key sectors that foster mutual development and economic prosperity for both nations. They also addressed pressing matters related to recent events in the region and their implications for global security and stability.
President El-Sisi categorically denounced the Iranian assaults against UAE civilians, voicing Egypt's unwavering support for the UAE and backing all initiatives to ensure the safety and sovereignty of its territory and citizens.
Prominent leaders, including Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and various senior officials, were present during this crucial meeting.
Previously, the two leaders had inspected the Egyptian fighter jet contingent in the UAE, assessing operational capabilities and ongoing strategies to bolster defense readiness amidst evolving challenges, accompanied by high-ranking defense officials.
