The Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) at Dubai South has taken significant steps to enhance its partnership with UUDS AERO, advancing Dubai's status as a hub for the aerospace industry.
This collaboration sees UUDS AERO acquiring two new Code F plots at MBRAH, each capable of housing three wide-body aircraft. These facilities will facilitate extensive cabin modifications, completions, and retrofit projects. This expansion underscores the growing regional and global demand for sophisticated aircraft interior services and highlights UUDS AERO's dedication to establishing Dubai as a premier aerospace center.
Additionally, MBRAH is set to inaugurate a 40,000-square-metre Cabin Excellence Center within the Airline Manufacturing and Supply Chain Zone. This center will be the first in the region focused on high-end cabin engineering and production and is poised to enhance Dubai’s role as a leading location for aircraft cabin design and fulfillment.
Tahnoon Saif, CEO of MBRAH, emphasizes that this expanding collaboration is in line with Dubai's aviation goals. He noted the Cabin Excellence Center as a pivotal milestone, which will bolster the emirate's engineering, manufacturing, and innovation capacity in the aviation sector. Saif also reaffirmed MBRAH's commitment to providing a world-class environment for aerospace enterprises to thrive.
Gilles Negre, the Founder and Chairman of UUDS AERO, stated that this growth will significantly improve their operational capabilities. He remarked that the new facilities would enable UUDS AERO to provide advanced cabin solutions in a more eco-efficient manner. Negre also praised the integrated infrastructure and forward-thinking vision of Dubai South, deeming it an optimal setting for aerospace advancements.
UUDS AERO offers a full suite of aircraft cabin completion and modification services, accredited by both the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA). Their offerings encompass design, certification, production, and maintenance, alongside a focus on environmentally sustainable aviation practices.
MBRAH is continually drawing top global airlines, private jet companies, maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) providers, and aerospace firms. As a free-zone within Dubai South, it also accommodates maintenance hubs, training facilities, and academic institutions, fortifying Dubai's ambition to emerge as a leading global aviation and aerospace nexus.
