Dubai South, Dubai – Tim Aerospace has prominently opened its latest maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) hangar at the Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH), marking a milestone as one of the largest independent facilities in the region. The hangar is built to accommodate up to 12 narrow-body or five wide-body aircraft, excluding the A380, as part of the company’s strategy to expand its influence in the Middle East.
The inauguration was attended by high-ranking officials from Dubai’s aviation industry, including HE Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South, along with Tahnoon Saif, CEO of MBRAH, and Timor Shah Shahab, Founder of Tim Aerospace. Key executives and representatives from major airlines were also present, showcasing strong industry support for this significant undertaking.
Situated strategically within Dubai South, the new facility aims to provide high-quality, cost-effective maintenance for both commercial passenger and cargo aircraft. By enhancing operational efficiency and capacity, Tim Aerospace is positioned to address the rising regional demand while upholding international safety and reliability standards.
This launch reinforces Dubai’s aspiration to be a leading hub for aerospace innovation and operational excellence. MBRAH offers exceptional connectivity, a free-zone setup for global aviation stakeholders, and a comprehensive ecosystem that facilitates engineering, maintenance, and training initiatives.
Moreover, this development strengthens Dubai South’s attractiveness as a center for international aerospace investment, appealing to airlines, private jet operators, and MRO companies looking for strategic growth opportunities in the region.
