The Durgapur gang rape case has taken a shocking turn as police identified the main accused, Firdous Sheikh, along with five co-accused, including the survivor’s classmate and boyfriend. The revelation came during a Test Identification (TI) parade report presented in the Durgapur Sub-Divisional Court on Monday. The judge stressed that if the charge sheet is submitted before the next hearing scheduled for October 31, the trial could begin without delay. "Once the charge sheet is submitted, copies will be provided to all parties, and the trial process will begin immediately after the charges are framed," said lawyer Partha Ghosh.
