UAE Leaders Gather in Dubai to Chart Path Toward 2026

Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, today welcomed His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, at Al Marmoom Rest House in Dubai.

Also present were His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance.

During their discussion, the leaders exchanged heartfelt New Year greetings, expressing hopes for continued prosperity and stability for the UAE and its people. They highlighted the ongoing development journey under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, alongside the support of the Emirates’ rulers and members of the Federal Supreme Council.

The meeting focused on the UAE's robust development plans and long-term strategic objectives aimed at promoting national growth and ensuring sustained progress in the future. They also reflected on significant accomplishments from the past year that enhanced the UAE’s global reputation, improved public services, and elevated the overall quality of life for its citizens and residents.

The leaders reiterated that the wellbeing of the human population is central to all development initiatives, emphasizing the need to create opportunities that secure a prosperous future for the people of the UAE.

They further expressed hope that the upcoming year would bring peace, stability, and prosperity across the region and the globe, serving as an opportunity to bolster cooperation and collective efforts for the betterment of humanity.
