Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a call from Joseph Aoun, where they engaged in discussions about regional security, collaborative ties, and ongoing endeavors to sustain stability in the Middle East.
During their dialogue, President Aoun reiterated Lebanon’s condemnation of Iranian attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure in the UAE. He expressed unwavering solidarity with the UAE and supported all actions taken to safeguard its security, sovereignty, and territory.
The leaders reviewed the deep-seated fraternal relations between Lebanon and the UAE, focusing on enhancing cooperation across various sectors to foster development and prosperity in both nations.
Their conversation also touched on recent developments in Lebanon and the strides being made to bolster security and stability within the country. President Aoun commended the UAE’s ongoing support for Lebanon's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the hopes of the Lebanese populace for a peaceful, secure, and stable future.
Both leaders exchanged perspectives on recent happenings in the Middle East, emphasizing the necessity of supporting peace initiatives and reinforcing regional security and stability for the benefit of all inhabitants of the region.
