Jordan's Defence Forces Thwart Iranian Missile Threat

In a significant defense operation, Jordan's military intercepted and neutralized four missiles launched from Iran early Monday morning, as reported by the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army.

Details emerged via a statement from the Jordan News Agency (Petra), confirming that the missiles were effectively dealt with upon entering Jordanian airspace.

No Injuries or Damage Recorded

The General Command confirmed there were no injuries or property damage as a result of the incident. Authorities assured that the interception was successful, maintaining control over the situation.

Official statements indicated that public and private properties remained unharmed following the event.

Completion of Debris Clearance

The statement noted that teams from the Royal Engineering Corps were deployed to secure the area and clear any debris that landed at various sites across the nation.

This operation adhered to established safety protocols to ensure the well-being of the public while efficiently managing the impacted locations.

Jordan's Commitment to Airspace Security

An official military spokesperson emphasized Jordan's commitment to protecting its sovereignty and airspace from any transgressions.

Any infringement on national sovereignty will be met with a strong response in line with established engagement rules and Jordan's national interests, the source added.

Additionally, the military reiterated its resolve to take all necessary actions to ensure the safety of the nation and its citizens.
