A fresh escalation in violence has been reported in Gaza Strip after an Israeli drone strike killed three Palestinians in the northern part of the region. The incident occurred near a civilian gathering point, raising renewed concerns about safety and stability in the area.
According to local medical sources, the strike targeted a group of people near Kuwait Roundabout and Al-Saqa Mosque in Al-Maghraqa town, located south of Gaza City. The attack was carried out using a drone, and the victims were declared dead at the scene.
Officials said that emergency teams rushed to the location immediately after the strike. However, due to the intensity of the explosion and the damage caused, there was little that could be done to save those affected. The injured were transported to nearby medical facilities for treatment.
The incident comes at a time when tensions remain high between Israel and Palestinian territories, even after a ceasefire was announced earlier. Despite the pause in large-scale conflict, sporadic strikes and incidents continue to be reported, keeping the region on edge.
Data released by WAFA indicates that since the ceasefire on October 11, the total number of casualties has continued to rise. Reports suggest that hundreds of people have been killed and thousands injured, with many still missing under the rubble of destroyed buildings.
Humanitarian concerns are also growing as rescue teams continue to search for survivors and recover bodies from collapsed structures. The situation remains critical, with limited access to essential supplies and medical care in many affected areas.
Observers say the latest strike highlights the fragile nature of the current ceasefire and the ongoing risks faced by civilians in conflict zones. Calls for renewed diplomatic efforts and long-term solutions are increasing as the humanitarian situation worsens.
