On Tuesday, Israeli airstrikes across specific regions in southern Lebanon resulted in at least 31 deaths and 40 injuries, according to statements from health officials in Lebanon.
The Public Health Emergency Operations Centre, under the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, confirmed the casualties through an official announcement.
The most devastating strike occurred in the vicinity of Burj El Shemali, close to Tyre, where 14 individuals lost their lives and 16 were reported injured.
In Kouthariyeh El Siyad, five individuals were reported dead, accompanied by six injuries. An additional attack in Haboush resulted in four fatalities and ten injuries.
Moreover, airstrikes targeted Maarakah, claiming six lives and causing six injuries. In Sel'aa, two more individuals died, with two others injured.
Emergency response teams and medical personnel rushed to assist those injured and search for victims in the aftermath of the attacks.
These strikes are the latest flare-up amid the ongoing cross-border violence impacting southern Lebanon.
