Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Kuala Krai district police headquarters and personnel from the local police station were immediately dispatched to the hospital to examine the scene.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim was discovered unresponsive in one of the hospital hostel rooms. Police said initial checks found no evidence of foul play, and the case has been classified as a sudden death.
Authorities have sent the body to the hospital’s forensic unit for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. Police have also appealed to members of the public who may have information about the incident to come forward and assist with the investigation.
