The General Tax Authority (GTA) has initiated a sequence of specialized workshops geared towards audit firms to bolster cooperation with stakeholders and enhance tax-related knowledge.
An official statement released by the GTA on Tuesday revealed that these sessions took place at the Authority's headquarters, attracting over 50 auditors and representatives from various audit firms.
The primary aim of this initiative was to refine both technical and practical abilities while promoting adherence to best practices and professional standards within the tax domain.
Throughout the interactive workshops, participants were informed about the newest legislative and procedural updates concerning taxation. The sessions provided a blend of theoretical insights and practical training aimed at fostering professional capacity development.
This initiative also seeks to deepen the understanding of tax regulations, ensuring alignment in professional interpretations and promoting greater consistency in tax rule applications, thereby enhancing overall compliance levels.
According to the GTA, these workshops underscore its dedication to ongoing collaboration with audit firms. This partnership is designed to facilitate tax compliance and elevate the quality of professional practices in the field.
These workshops are part of a comprehensive strategy devised by the Authority to standardize technical concepts and procedures, strengthen adherence to regulations, promote knowledge exchange, and stay current with developments in the tax landscape.
