YouTuber, Football Commentator Attacked in Malaysia

A YouTuber and football commentator was seriously injured after being attacked by two unidentified men at a petrol station near Bandar Sri Damansara, Malaysia, on Saturday. Police have launched an investigation and are working to identify and arrest the suspects.

Victim Attacked While Inflating Car Tyres

According to Petaling Jaya district police chief Assistant Commissioner Shamsudin Mamat, police received a report about the incident at 7.56pm.

Preliminary investigations found that the victim, who is in his 40s, had stopped at the petrol station to inflate his car tyres when he was approached by two men riding a Yamaha LC motorcycle. The motorcycle's registration number has not yet been confirmed.

Suspects Assaulted Victim and Recorded the Attack

Police said the two suspects repeatedly assaulted the victim before recording a video of the attack. After the assault, they fled the scene.

The victim suffered multiple injuries, including a fractured eye socket, and received medical treatment for his condition.

Police Continue Investigation

Assistant Commissioner Shamsudin Mamat said investigators are still working to determine the motive behind the attack. Police are continuing efforts to trace and identify the suspects involved.

The case is being investigated under Section 325 of the Penal Code for causing grievous hurt.

Public Asked to Help Investigation

Police have appealed to anyone with information about the incident to contact the nearest police station or Investigating Officer Inspector Muhammad Danish Noor Azri at 013-6201412.

Shamsudin also urged the public not to make statements or share materials related to the incident in any way that could interfere with the ongoing investigation.
