The much-anticipated World of Coffee Dubai 2026 is gearing up to enhance the international coffee landscape by hosting three major auctions, organized by DMCC as part of the Dubai Coffee Auction. This fifth edition, taking place from January 18–20 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, builds upon last year's stellar performance where select microlots fetched over USD 10,000 per kilogram—among the highest auction bids globally.
This year's expanded auction program reinforces Dubai's growing stature as a vital bridge between coffee origin markets and global buyers. In partnership with DMCC and DXB LIVE, and coordinated by M-Cultivo, the event is committed to providing a fully digital and transparent marketplace, giving buyers immediate access to verified lot data. The option for remote participation highlights Dubai's commitment to enhancing efficiency and connectivity within the specialty coffee sector.
The three-day schedule will feature focused themes each day. The first day will display an exclusive range of limited-edition coffee equipment for auction. The second day will highlight specialty microlots from esteemed coffee-producing nations like Panama, Colombia, Ethiopia, Yemen, and Taiwan, with cupping sessions allowing buyers to evaluate quality prior to bidding. On the final day, exhibitors will present unique coffees, providing producers and roasters a platform to connect with global buyers and expand their market reach.
These auctions are timely as the UAE's coffee market is witnessing robust growth. Currently valued at over USD 3.2 billion, it is projected to reach USD 4.5 billion by 2029, fueled by increasing demand for specialty coffee, a vibrant café culture, and Dubai's emerging role as a re-export center. Coffee re-exports have surpassed AED 3.5 billion, with an industry marked by maturity and increasing international engagement.
Submissions for producers and equipment manufacturers interested in entering their lots for the 2026 auctions are now open. Each submission will be rigorously assessed based on criteria of quality, innovation, and traceability. Buyers must register in advance to participate in the auctions, either in person or virtually.
The World of Coffee Dubai 2026 is expected to attract significant interest from the global coffee community, further solidifying Dubai's position as a central hub where producers, traders, and specialty coffee enthusiasts gather to shape the future of this industry.
