Beginning on January 1, 2026, Emirates, the leading global airline, will operate all seven of its weekly flights to Baghdad using the advanced Airbus A350. This transition represents a notable upgrade from the existing Boeing 777 service, which currently operates four times weekly.
With this new fleet, passengers can expect a consistently premium experience on every flight. The A350 features three distinct classes, including 32 business class seats that recline fully in a 1-2-1 configuration, 21 premium economy seats arranged 2-3-2, and 259 economy seats set up in a spacious 3-3-3 layout. Travelers will benefit from Emirates' renowned inflight entertainment, wider aisles, quieter cabins, and advanced lighting meant to alleviate jet lag.
Emirates initially introduced the A350 to Baghdad in August 2025 for select flights, and the decision to expand it to a full weekly schedule underscores the airline's commitment to improving travel quality and consistency. It also highlights Emirates' steady dedication to Iraq and the wider Middle East.
