In a recent announcement, Qatar's Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) outlined the operational hours for healthcare services during the Eid Al Adha celebration.
Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) hospitals will maintain 24/7 emergency and inpatient services throughout the holiday. Ambulance services and Pediatric Emergency Centers will also operate continuously.
Blood donation will be accepted at the Qatar National Blood Donation Center on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.
During Eid, 21 health centers under the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) will be open. Urgent care services will be available 24/7 at 15 locations, including ten centers dedicated to childcare.
The MoPH has instructed government healthcare facilities to provide specific service schedules for the Eid period.
Operating hours for several MoPH departments have also been released. The Medical Relations and Treatment Abroad Department will welcome visitors daily from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, excluding the first day of Eid and Fridays and Saturdays.
Additionally, the Newborn Registration Office at the Women’s Wellness and Research Center will function from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm during Eid, except on the first day of Eid and on Fridays and Saturdays.
The Death Registration Unit at the Unified Humanitarian Services Office will be open daily throughout the Eid holiday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Moreover, the Unified Healthcare Sector Contact Center (16000) will be accessible 24/7.
