The Dubai Land Department (DLD) has officially introduced the second phase of its Emirati Real Estate Business Incubator Programme, building on the success of the first. This phase aims to engage 25 additional Emiratis and bolster their participation in Dubai's booming real estate landscape.
This initiative aligns with Dubai’s broader strategy to foster a diversified, knowledge-driven economy underpinned by national talent and entrepreneurship. It also aims to cultivate a competitive and sustainable real estate market by guiding Emiratis in starting and managing their own brokerage firms.
The project is a collaboration with Dubai Silicon Oasis, New Economy Academy, and Rochester Institute of Technology Dubai. Participants will benefit from extensive training that includes mentorship and valuable interaction with key players in the real estate sector.
Eng. Abdullah Ahmed Al Shehhi, CEO of the Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA), highlighted that the launch of this new phase underscores Dubai's unwavering commitment to empowering Emirati talent in shaping the future of the real estate industry.
According to him, the programme is tailored to arm Emirati brokers and entrepreneurs with essential skills and resources to create sustainable brokerage firms that enhance market efficiency and competitiveness.
Al Shehhi noted that the encouraging outcomes of the first phase reaffirmed the potential that Emiratis hold when afforded the right environment, mentorship, and practical education. He urged Emiratis to participate and turn their aspirations into successful enterprises in one of Dubai’s most vibrant sectors.
Spanning six months, the second phase will delve into specialized training encompassing legal, regulatory, operational, financial, and marketing facets relevant to launching and managing real estate brokerage firms. Additionally, it will spotlight the role of technology and artificial intelligence within the industry, while upholding professional ethics and standards.
Participants will also gain direct access to developers and market stakeholders, presenting them with investment opportunities and aiding in the development of professional networks vital for their business growth.
The first phase notably connected participants with the real estate market, enhancing their readiness to transition from training to actual business operations.
Through this initiative, the Dubai Land Department remains dedicated to fostering Emirati entrepreneurship by crafting an environment that merges education, practical experience, and sustainable economic impact. The programme aspires to nurture a new wave of Emirati real estate firms that can drive market expansion and elevate Dubai’s status in global real estate investment.
DLD invites Emirati citizens keen on entering the real estate sector—whether seasoned professionals or those seeking a career pivot—to register for the second phase before May 25, 2026.
