Dubai South Introduces New Support Initiative for SMEs

Dubai South Introduces New Support Initiative for SMEs

Post by : Badri Ariffin

Dubai South, a prominent master-planned development focused on aviation, logistics, and real estate, has announced a robust support initiative aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within its Business Park.

This initiative seeks to provide instant financial assistance while promoting long-term sustainability for businesses. It underscores the Dubai government’s wider commitment to ensuring economic stability and nurturing a conducive atmosphere for enterprises across the emirate.

The new support initiative includes a variety of flexible measures for SMEs. These encompass rent incentives associated with lease renewals, extended payment deferral options, and the elimination of minor administrative charges. Furthermore, existing rental rates will remain consistent for qualifying tenants renewing their leases during this period.

This action underscores Dubai South’s commitment to fortifying its business ecosystem, particularly by backing SMEs, which are pivotal for driving innovation, job creation, and economic progress in Dubai.

Nabil Al Kindi, Group CEO of Dubai South, stressed the significance of SMEs in the economic framework of the emirate. He pointed out that ensuring their continuity and expansion remains a key priority, and that this initiative is aimed at providing practical and timely solutions to maintain a stable environment for enduring success.

He also highlighted that Dubai South is dedicated to implementing value-driven initiatives that align with the leadership’s vision to preserve economic momentum and bolster Dubai’s competitive edge as a global business center.

Dubai South Business Park continues to draw a diverse range of companies, providing adaptable office solutions, integrated services, and a strategic location conducive to business growth and operational efficiency.
