This morning witnessed a fire outbreak at a high-rise building still in the construction phase in Dubai Marina, leading to an immediate response from emergency teams.
The incident transpired around 7:30 AM at The Residences at Al Habtoor Grand, a 50-storey structure situated near the waterfront and adjacent to the Habtoor Grand Hotel. This development is slated for completion in March 2027.
Civil Defence personnel along with police promptly arrived at the scene as dense smoke began enveloping the marina's skyline. Authorities swiftly sealed off the nearby road to maintain public safety and facilitate uninterrupted firefighting operations.
Thanks to its close proximity to Al Marsa Civil Defence station, emergency responders could act quickly to control the flames.
Currently, there is no information available regarding the fire’s cause, and officials confirm that no injuries have been reported.
As fire risks tend to escalate during hotter months due to dry conditions, prompt actions from emergency teams are paramount.
