In a significant step towards fortifying family ties, the Community Development Authority (CDA) has announced the launch of the ‘Nuwat Dubai’ initiative under the Sheikha Hind Bint Maktoum Family Programme. This program aims to enrich family stability and foster community wellbeing.
The event marked by diverse interactive sessions brought together community members, strategic partners, and other stakeholders. Aligned with the Dubai Social Agenda 33, this initiative focuses on implementing sustainable social development programs aimed at enhancing psychological wellbeing and familial cohesion.
Held at the Coffee Lab, the launch featured activities tailored for various community demographics, including personality assessments, family counseling, social guidance programs, community-based competitions, and reward initiatives supported by National Bonds.
These engaging activities galvanized families to become involved, fostering deeper connections and social awareness in alignment with the initiative’s purpose.
Dr. Namaa Al Shamsi, the CDA’s Family Development Department Director, emphasized the initiative’s role in nurturing families as foundational elements of a robust society.
Reflecting on Dubai's leadership vision, Dr. Al Shamsi noted that the initiative is a commitment to investing in community welfare, enhancing both family and social wellbeing. She underscored the CDA's objective of creating sustainable programs to enhance families' social and psychological stability while facilitating better communication with support organizations.
Also part of the CDA’s overarching aim, the ‘Nuwat Dubai’ initiative is included within a wider framework of community programs that seek to boost family unity, elevate social awareness, and aid families in navigating social and psychological challenges through innovative solutions.
