Dubai Press Club Unveils AI Workshop for Content Creators

Post by : Badri Ariffin

In a recent initiative, the Dubai Press Club conducted a workshop entitled “Artificial Intelligence… Simplified” as part of its ongoing Media Workshops series. This session highlighted the increasing influence of artificial intelligence in media and its applications in content development.

Featured in this workshop was Emirati content creator Ebrahim Bolehyool, who shared insights into how AI tools can enhance visual storytelling and awareness content. Media professionals and creators participated actively in the session.

Maryam Al Mulla, the Director of Dubai Press Club, emphasized the rapid advancement of AI as a crucial subject globally. She noted that the workshop aimed to demystify AI for media professionals, showing them how it can enhance their productivity and content quality.

Moreover, Al Mulla stated the Dubai Press Club's dedication to staying abreast of emerging technologies while fostering collaboration among media and tech specialists.

During the event, Ebrahim Bolehyool delved into how generative AI employs data, algorithms, and neural networks. He illustrated AI's capability to swiftly analyze information, recognize patterns, and generate text, images, and videos.

The workshop also presented popular AI platforms like Google Gemini, OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Anthropic’s Claude, and ElevenLabs. These technologies were touted for their potential in aiding creators to convert concepts into compelling content across various formats including text, audio, and visuals.

Bolehyool further reassured attendees that AI should not be viewed as a substitute for human creativity. Rather, he encouraged that blending human insights with AI tools can lead to innovative and powerful outcomes.

Wrapping up, the session emphasized the transformative role of AI in shaping the future media landscape, equipping creators to adapt to the swiftly changing digital environment.
