Eid Al Adha Festivities Uniting 300,000 Workers Across the UAE

Post by : Badri Ariffin

This year's Eid Al Adha in the UAE was celebrated with grandeur, bringing together nearly 300,000 workers at 30 celebratory locations across the nation. These festivities honored their invaluable contributions to the nation’s progress and development.

Organized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE), a cultural and entertainment-rich agenda was designed to enrich the holiday experience for workers. Collaborating with various federal, local agencies, emergency services, and private sector partners enhanced the event’s reach.

Participants enjoyed a vibrant mix of live performances, folk dances, interactive contests, and community engagement activities. Raffle draws offered exciting prizes, including cars, travel tickets, and many more rewards.

Gifts were also distributed to workers at celebration venues, adding to the cheer and recognizing their hard work and dedication.

In addition, numerous private companies held their own events, showcasing a collective effort between public and private organizations for worker welfare and community health.

Officials emphasized that these celebrations highlight the UAE's commitment to acknowledging workers' essential roles in economic growth and national development. This initiative is also a part of broader measures aimed at improving workers' quality of life and fostering community inclusion.

Ultimately, the Eid Al Adha celebrations served not only as a joyous occasion but as a meaningful tribute, reinforcing the UAE’s dedication to creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere for workers from every background.
